Summary:
The project will generate knowledge, technology and methods to strengthen well boats as a gentle, efficient and environmentally friendly actor with high biosecurity standards.

The Norwegian Veterinary Institute participates in inspecting different well boat operations, and will contribute with:

  • Current state of knowledge on risk of disease transfer with well boats
  • A risk assessment of disease transmission by transport of live fish using today's boats, routines and equipment.
